Perplexity brings its agentic Personal Computer to Windows
A small local model acts as the router: it classifies each sub task by data sensitivity and compute need before deciding whether it stays on the machine or goes to a cloud model. That is the first mainstream agent built around the objection every finance team raises, which is that the sensitive files must not leave the building.
Perplexity's Personal Computer agent, launched on Mac in April, now runs on Windows. It connects local files, native apps and web services in one system and routes each sub task to one of more than 20 models, on device or in the cloud, starting with Max and Enterprise Max subscribers.
KRALYSRun it on one Katarina task you would never paste into a cloud tool, sorting local client documents for example, and check in the logs whether the sensitive parts really stayed on device.
